It was a truly rocking electric charge when I got to do the liner notes a decade ago for composer-filmmaker John Carpenter’s Lost Themes, the first of his many journeys into the realm of pure music that thrilled the imagination of the mind’s eye. Now I’m equally excited and beyond grateful that Sarcred Bones Records Bones has ported over my original liner notes into their incredible new vinyl packaging for the tenth anniversary of Lost Themes, which includes unreleased demos as well. It’s like the rockingly ferocious and hauntingly atmospheric fog from Carpenter has swept over us again HERE!
